When do you ship? When should I order?

WARNING! We take orders every day, but only send out delivery orders (with GLS) from Monday to Wednesday, this is to avoid the cookies sitting in GLS stock all weekend and to ensure that the baked goods get to you as fresh as possible!

What are you sending?

We ship items that can be ordered through the website (such as brownies and cookies) via GLS. Every other item that requires refrigeration can be ordered by mail and picked up at the bakery in Bryrup. We currently do not offer shipping for any refrigerated items, but we are working to offer this in the future!

Where do you ship?

We only ship throughout Denmark. We do not deliver abroad (also applies to the Faroe Islands and Greenland).

Can I collect my goods in person?

Where can I do it? You can collect all items free of charge from our bakery in Bryrup (Hovedgaden 58, 8654 Bryrup). ATTENTION! We do not have fixed opening hours, so collection is only possible if you make an appointment first!

Do you offer delivery of your customized cakes?

At this time, I do not have the capacity to offer delivery of items that require refrigeration.

Choice of date for delivery or collection

After placing items in the shopping basket, when you see the contents of the basket, you have the option of choosing the desired collection or delivery date. Please note that we will take your chosen date into account, but cannot guarantee the date. When choosing a delivery date, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1) we work with GLS and they do not deliver on weekends and holidays 2) we only process orders with delivery from Monday to Wednesday. The reason we only process delivery orders on these 3 days is to make sure your cake or brownie gets to you fresh and doesn't end up sitting in a warehouse for an entire weekend.

How big are the brownies?

Currently we only offer one size of brownies ("standard brownies"). The undecorated standard brownies are about 19*19 cm and weigh about 740g. The deored brownies are of course heavier. Each of our standard brownies makes about 9 servings.

How long do they last?

The brownies will keep for about 5 days if stored at room temperature. If stored in the fridge they will last longer, but I would recommend eating them in the first few days as they are freshest in the first few days.

How to store brownies?

Brownies can be stored at room temperature for up to 5 days. If you like them extra hard, you can store them in the fridge, and if you like them runny, heat them in the microwave for a few seconds.

How to serve brownies?

Brownies can be eaten chilled, room temperature or even warm (microwave for a few seconds). They can be enjoyed on their own, but are perfect with some vanilla ice cream or raspberry jam!

Allergen info

In case of allergy, please always write an email so that I can inform you about the product in question. All my products that can be purchased via the website are labeled with allergen information and the same information can be found on the product's website under "nutrition and allergy info". Please be aware that in my kitchen we use a wide variety of ingredients that are classified as allergens and due to the small size of my business cross contamination cannot be completely eliminated. If you still wish to proceed with your order (despite having a food allergy or sensitivity), it is at your own risk, although I will do everything in my power to reduce the risks. In case of severe allergies, I do NOT recommend ordering from my bakery! Please note that some decorations are subject to ingredient changes as there may be some items out of stock that we may need to replace with another similar item that may have different ingredients!

What type of cakes do you make?

I offer non-perishable goods that can be stored at room temperature with delivery via GLS AND I also offer a wide selection of birthday and wedding cakes, however only with collection from our bakery in Bryrup.

When should I place my order?

Webshop items: ALL brownies are made to order, fresh, just for you! We do not have stock and must therefore have time to bake, cool, decorate, pack and then deliver the brownies to GLS. I recommend that you place the order at least 2 days before when you would like them delivered. Please be aware and always take into account that there are no deliveries on weekends and public holidays. This means that all orders placed on weekends and holidays (including Fridays!) will be processed and dispatched on the first working day after the weekend or holiday.

Other non-webshop items: all items that can be picked up in person are subject to our schedule only. This means that if we have time, we will accept the order, even if you would like to order something for a weekend or holiday. We work on weekends and holidays, but you should place the order as soon as possible because our calendar fills up quickly!

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, it is possible to cancel your order if we have not yet prepared it, in which case we will give you a full refund. Please note that if you do not cancel your order before production has started, we will incur varying amounts of loss (depending on how late you cancel) and therefore may not be able to offer even partial refunds! If the product has already been prepared but not shipped, we can offer a 50% refund, and if the product has already left the premises (it has already been handed over to the delivery company) we do not offer a refund in case of cancellation.

Can I change my order?

Changing your order is not possible within a reasonable time! I recommend making any necessary changes as soon as possible. If the order has already been handed over to the delivery company, we cannot do anything. If the order is still in our possession and packed, the order can be changed but an additional repacking fee will be charged and we advise against this as due to changes with the order and repacking we may miss the delivery company's collection and in this case we may only ships the next day, which means the product won't be as fresh as it was meant to be! However, if you accept these terms and would like to move forward with this option, it is possible!

How can I order?

You can order our webshop items directly on our webshop by placing the item in your shopping basket and following the checkout instructions. If you wish to order a custom-made product that is not offered on our website, please contact us: info@mjolnerbageri.dk.
